We carry forward the culture of hand-knitting and creativity in the study of threads to offer our customers products of the highest quality, completely Made in Italy.

Our yarns are produced in different areas of Italy to ensure the highest standards of quality throughout the entire process, from the cotton staple to the finished yarn. Each yarn follows a custom production process to ensure a final product of the highest quality.

We operate in strict compliance with current regulations, the environment, and human health: we are attentive to everything concerning our products, but also our employees, using regularly qualified labor.

La Storia

A story that began in 1911 in Mercatino Conca When Paolo di Lorenzo, Alberto di Lorenzo's great-grandfather, had the idea of ​​using the water from the Conca River to power wool spinning machines and start a new business, in addition to his current miller's business. The area was home to many livestock farms, including sheep, whose wool could be purchased, processed, and then resold as yarn. This is how the wool mill “Di Lorenzo Paolo & Figli” was bornUpon their father's death, around the 50s, his sons Paolo, Alessandro, and Giuseppe Di Lorenzo decided to split up: Alessandro moved to Rimini, while Giuseppe continued the business in Mercatino Conca with his young brother Paolo, who was already employed by the family business.
In 1960 Paolo Di Lorenzo moved to Cattolica and changed the company name to “AdriafilThanks to his entrepreneurial skills and hard work, the company reached all of Italy: the ever-increasing demand for products led Paolo Di Lorenzo to the decision to move the business to larger premises in Rimini, first on Via Flaminia and later to the GROS shopping centre in Rimini. Today the Adriafil company occupies 3.500 m2 at the GROS in Rimini, supplies its excellent yarns to many customers, even abroad, thanks to the work of Paolo's son, Alberto Di Lorenzo who, supported by the skill and expertise of his wife Sabina Garampelli, passionately continues his great-grandfather's work.
