For our production, we start from the choice of raw materials to the shape of the ball: we use Italian facilities that comply with legislation and protect the environment.
Our yarns are categorized into: classic pure wool and wool blend yarns, fancy yarns, precious yarns, crochet and embroidery cottons.
We use numerous types of wool for our yarns: each differs in fineness (microns), color, and quality. We choose the wool based on the item we need to produce. Wool fineness is measured in microns: the lower the micron, the finer the wool and the softer the yarn. Some of our products have very low microns to ensure the highest quality and excellent workmanship. The wool is chosen through careful selection of the lots: we ensure they are free of impurities and light in color.
Our cotton products, both knitted and crocheted, are made with the finest Egyptian cotton fiber, which is longer, stronger, and shinier than other qualities on the market.
YARN PROCESSING
The steps involved in manufacturing classic yarns are few but meticulously designed: from the selection of raw materials to the final manufacturing stages. All steps are strictly Made in Italy.
If the yarn is a blend, meaning not all wool, it must first be blended well to achieve a high-quality result.
Next we move on to the spinning, where the yarn is "born", at twisting, where it comes from twisted in various ways depending on the result you want to achieve and the dry cleaner where we can choose to make solid, shaded or multi-colored colors.
Choosing the shape and weight of the ball of yarn It depends on several factors: the type of yarn (intended as composition, which can be more or less slippery) and the cost of the yarn (more or less precious), as well as the most suitable packaging to contain and "protect" it.
The quality and softness of our products is evident right from the packaging: the branded transparent bags make the products immediately visually striking and convey their softness, while opening the box creates a magical moment of discovering the treasure inside: a precious and elegant yarn.
Alongside the classic yarns there is the world of fantasy where, depending on the type of workmanship, the use of specific machinery is necessary (for example: ribbons, puffs, multi-coloured tops, loom ribbons, chains, etc.): the designs are studied both in terms of composition, and in the count (dimensions and fineness of the yarn) and in the colouring.
